We had asked Jill to create a stained glass “sign” for our saltwater aquarium store. Our logo has the octopus in it. She designed an absolutely awesome frame with our signature octopus, along with other creatures from the deep. As you can see, there’s no doubt what our store is all about, she even captured the “circles” that cover the body of the octopus in the glass she used. We were so thrilled we ordered one for each store. Thank you Jill, for a beautiful and lasting treasure for our store.

Jill Wicke demonstrates an outstanding ability to meld her new creations in glass with already existing glass.  Recently she completed five stained glass panels each measuring 4' X 4'.  The project called for blending these new contemporary works look with an existing  35' x 5' glass panel.  She sucessfully created a new river of glass that allows the eye to flow seamlessly from the large existing panel that runs from the floor perpendicular to the ceiling to the newer panels which stretch for 60 feet across the ceiling.  Jill has an excellent eye for color and a fresh approach in design.  I would highly recommend her for any stained glass project you are considering, both commerical and home.

I first became aware of Jill's unique talent in 1985 when she designed coveted C-9 airplane suncatchers to give as gifts for my husband's squadron in the Air Force. Later I admired her work as I sat in church and gazed in wonder at the magnificent skylights that she designed, created, and installed at First Methodist. Now I am the proud owner of a spectacular "Jill Wicke Original" as a beautiful beveled art glass adorns a transom in my new home.
